Sandy!! The most dedicated and creative teacher I know. She LOVED the children! I was proud to be her partner as “the Sandys” for 10 years at Horizon Elementary. We loved planning Camp Skeeter, the Kingdom of Readalot and TMNTs eating pizza by a manhole cover in the parking lot. Congratulations and may God give you many years to ENJOY your retirement. The sweetest, most memorable teacher of mine. She made every day in class so exciting and so very fun. I have so many memories from her class; she made learning so enjoyable and I have so much to thank her for- such as her kickstarting my lifelong Beatles obsession with a puppet show to “The Yellow Submarine”. As I go into my senior year of highschool, I can say confidently say that she was one of my favorite teachers!
